A company that I really dig, Flor, is having a little design contest. The contest is easy to understand and easy to use. Thought I should share with the Strangers here. One day, one of these contest will fruit a winner from our readers and we will hold you on high. For the weekend, at least. Now, back to work.

Here’s a bit of Flor trivia… the product is manufactured and distributed from the humble community Bruce (one of the site contributors) grew up in. This fact may not seem interesting until you learn that this progressive product is based in a rather un-progressive community. Their building in West Point, GA stands out like a spiral florescent bulb among a heap of incandescents. (though the locals would probably lean more towards the “sore thumb” analogy.) Here’s a link that shows the buliding’s facade http://www.interfaceflor.com/Default.aspx?Section=3&Sub=6&Ter=22
I’m looking forward to a trip home during a weekday so I can take a tour of one of the local facilities. Yea, ok, …and hopefully score some free samples.
I never knew what they did there, but I remember driving by the building when I was in school and thinking that it was great they actually made an effort to DESIGN something that was buried in an industrial park. Kudos to Interface, they do it right.
